Getting Braintree Back on Track

A Plan for Braintree Public Schools

Create an informed comprehensive plan for all public school buildings; Revitalize Braintree High School via a multi-faceted approach of creating innovative programming and improved physical learning spaces; Expand curriculum to offer interested students career and technical education opportunities; Elevate the voices of parents, teachers & students to best identify school needs.

Restoring Fiscal Responsibility

Stabilize Braintree's faltering finances to protect taxpayers & Town finances; Improve Braintree's bond rating after it was downgraded under the current administration; Create short-term and long-term budgeting and finance plans that recognize our projected expenses and revenues; Prioritize property tax relief for seniors; Hire a full-time grant writer to target more State & Federal funding for Braintree.

Open & Responsive Government

End the 'insider-only' culture at Town Hall; Improve and diversify Town-based communication across all digital platforms; Empower residents to have a greater voice in Town government; Expand See-Click-Fix by piloting 311 to respond to broader constituent requests; Encourage and help mobilize neighborhoods to create organized discussion groups.

Investing in Town Amenities

Prioritize the maintenance of parks, playgrounds, and open spaces through the creation of a volunteer-based Land Stewardship Program; Pilot innovative services to support small, local business owners; Expand programming at the Senior Center and Town Library; Create a viable plan to construct modern athletic fields and facilities for our community.

A Message from Erin

Braintree is a special place for us all — there's no better community on the South Shore to live, work, raise a family, and retire. My husband and I are raising our three boys here, and I own a small business in town. For nearly the past decade, I've been committed to keeping our community strong, as Chairperson of the Town's Planning Board and Hollis Elementary School PTO Co-President.

Right now, the Town is at a crossroads and is facing significant challenges. It's time to get Braintree back on track with professional administration and decisive leadership, a fiscally responsible commitment to taxpayers, and a dedicated focus on our families in the Braintree Schools.

Asking for your vote in November is a big request, I know. I look forward to working each and every day to earn your support and trust. I can’t wait to meet you on the campaign trail.
